The path to becoming a doctor is so long. For faster money, I recommend becoming a lawyer. After 3 years you're already bringing in the big bucks if you take the lawyer route.

My path to becoming a doctor was carefully planned out. I did a joint MD-MPH so that I could both practice medicine and take part in policy discussions around disease. As an undergraduate I took up French and Swahili as I knew that I would want to volunteer as a doctor in sub-Saharan Africa. I would recommend the MD-MPH track to anyone interested in public policy and medicine.

Doctor (Pediatrician)
My Path to becoming a doctor was influenced by my mother who was a nurse. It wasn't easy, I took the MCAT three times, but I eventually got into medical school. Don't ever give up if you know that medicine is what you want to do. It is a rigorous path to take but at the end it's very rewarding. I am a pediatrician so I get to work with kids every day. I think being a doctor is one of the most important career paths and I would recommend it to anyone willing to put in the hard work.
